Gotham Arts provides a wide range of administrative, management and sponsorship services to dance companies and performing artists. Some of those services are listed below, but Gotham Arts will modify and amend services based on the needs of the membership and the ever-changing environment of the dance community.

ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Gotham Arts provides comprehensive fiscal administration to artists who are not incorporated as a not-for-profit organization with tax exempt status. These administrative services involve maintaining an account specifically for their creative and performance projects. Activities/services included are: financial reports, budgeting, independent contractor payment, miscellaneous checking, 1099 reporting, disbursement of funds awarded, and handling of the company's reporting requirements to corporate, foundation, federal, state and city funders.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIP
Gotham Arts provides members with fiscal sponsorship services that enables performing artists to raise the funds they need to make their creative goals a reality. Sponsorship through Gotham Arts provides member artists with the appropriate conduit to apply for most foundation, corporate and government grants. Each individual artist and each dance company that is not an incorporated non-profit is considered a sponsored project of Gotham Arts Exchange.
INSURANCE
Gotham Arts provides members, their dancers, and technical & administrative staff with worker's compensation and disability insurance. For performance and events Gotham Arts also provides general liability policies specific to the projects or as required by the venue.
GRANT WRITING/DEVELOPMENT
Gotham Arts provides member artists with services that include the preparation, submission and administration of applications to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and certain foundations. In addition, Gotham Arts provides consulting services covering topics of development, special events, major donor cultivation and other fund raising topics.
GRAPHICS/PRINTED MATERIALS
Gotham Arts provides member artists with basic graphic design for a variety of promotional materials including: postcards, posters, flyers, brochures, business cards, and press kits. For complex design items Gotham Arts has a handful of great designers for referral. Most items are printed very economically through 4over4.com.
